Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills (IOLS)

March 20, 21 and 22 MK Ranch Waxahachie   Cost $25

This will be some of the best practical scouting training that you will receive. We have great staff who have a passion for teaching a hands-on program.

We really need some more participants. At a minimum, we like to operate three patrols of 7. So, pass the word!

Who is Required to Attend IOLS?
Webelos Leaders, Assistant Webelos Leader, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Varsity Coaches, Assistant Varsity Coaches. 

Venture Advisor and Venture Associate Advisor must attend if their Crew participates in outdoor or high adventure activities. 

Other volunteers that would benefit from IOLS
Committee Chairs, Committee Members, Patrol Mentors, Charter Reps, parents, anyone that camps with the unit, adults who may be future unit leaders.

Scoutmaster Specific Training April 11 at Scouting U Westlake Campus (National) 8 to 1 Cost $10 for lunch 
The latest revision of Scoutmaster-Specific training was completed in December, 2014. Scouting U is hosting this course for the purpose of introducing trainers to the revised syllabus, for unit leaders needing to complete the training, or for remediation of the skills. At the end of the course you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the experience. Your feedback will be shared with the Design and Development Team.
