Updated Memorial and Graveside Service Information

Kenneth’s Visitation will be Sunday, November 24 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Wade Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.

His Memorial will be on Monday, November 25 at 2:00 PM at Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 2100 N. Davis, Arlington.

His Burial will be on Tuesday, November 26 at 3:00 PM at Moore Memorial Garden, 1219 N. Davis, Arlington

Due to a miscommunication between the funeral home and the cemetery we are unable to have the memorial and burial on the same day. We are very sorry!

Note: Ken is being buried in his Scout uniform, please feel free to wear yours (to be clear this has not mentioned by the family, but the pallbearers that are Scouts will be wearing theirs).

Wednesday, November 6, 2019https://www.longhorncouncil.org/ LATEST CAMPOREE NEWS It's not too late to come out on Saturday! Dinosaurs at the Camporee A Velociraptor and a T-Rex from Walking with Dinosaurs Jurassic Extreme in Houston will join us Saturday afternoon for a guest appearance starting at 1:30 PM. Please keep a safe distance and don't feed the dinosaurs! Chess Tournament There will be an open all-day walk-in chess tournament in the Mess tent. All are welcome. Players will each get 5 minutes to finish each game they play. Open from from 9:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and 1:00 PM to 4:45 PM. Sci-Fi Reenactors Please remind all youth attending: DO NOT TOUCH the expensive and easily damaged costumes worn by Star Wars and other Science Fiction Reenactors. Gorgeous weather expected for our Centennial Camporee. Saturday looks to be especially nice with the high in the upper 60's and sunny! So, complete your registration. The game is the day after Thanksgiving so this may be a fun family event. Not an "official" Longhorn Council event this year but we are working to have something in place for next season.
