Take a quick inventory of your trained leaders. Do you have anyone that is lacking IOLS? Round them up and encourage them to attend the March 1st – March 3rd IOLS.
What is IOLS you ask? It is an fun filling exciting weekend where you get to learn how to teach young men in outdoor settings. More importantly you get to act like11 and 12 year old boys for the weekend!
Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skill is required for Boy Scout SMs and ASMs, Varsity Coaches and Assistant Coaches, is highly recommended for Committee Members and Webelos Leaders. NOTE: Webelos Outdoor Leader Specific Training has been replaced with Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skill.
