Important Sunday April 28th Leader Specific Training

Cub Leaders,

Hope all is well. This past weekend we have a Cub Scout Leader Specific Training. The Cub Scout Leader Specific Training is for all Committee Chairs, Committee Member, Cub Masters, Den Leaders, and Assistants to understand their role in the Pack structure. We will be offering this training again on Sunday April 28^th2pm- 5pm at St. Barnabas United Methodist Church. To help us plan for the this event please encourage those that will be attending to reserve their spot by  Thursday May 25^th to662crosstimbers@bsamail.org.  A confirmation e-mail will be send when they sign up and a reminder will be sent on Friday May 26^th.

At 5:00pm we will offer the Face-to-Face Youth Protection Training. This training is required for all adults you plan on attending day camp or resident camp in the state of Texas this summer. If an adult has documentation that they completed this training last year they will not be required to complete it again this year. Other dates are of

Also when looking to see who in the units is training themyscouting.org has a new tool for units. The Unit Training Tracking report found on the left side of the home page will show you all the training that is completed for your registered adults. We have had 1 unit send us an update that are in the process of getting entered. Please let me know if you can access this tool.

Also if you have adult leaders that aren't able to attend the face-to –face leader position-specific training please encourage them to complete the on-line training by May 1^st. They will need to log on to the myscouting.org system, go to e-learning and select cub scouts.
