Urgant DISTRICT DINNER POSTPONED

Cross Timbers Scouters,
The March 30th Dinner is being Postponed to a Date to be Determined in the coming weeks. We are making this decision based on low response for awards and participation in dinner.
We are including another copy of the awards that were included in charter packets for you to review. Please take a moment to see if an adult from your unit would deserve one of these awards. We will be accepting awards during April roundtable or sent to 662crosstimbers@basmail.org.
Thank you for your understanding.

Merit Badge News

Good news continues!  As you know, the Welding Merit Badge was released on 2/24/2012 and Mr Grayson has been busy.  Along with that we have covered two of the merit badges that were lacking District Counselors, Plant Science and Small Boat Sailing.  We are still looking for a counselor for Fingerprinting and Sculpture Merit Badges.  Look for Kayaking Merit Badge at the end of May and for Search and Rescue Merit Badge in June or July.

Time for re-certification!
I will be sending out the re-certification emails with attachments the first week in April.  It is imperative that all current counselors review this information and respond back to me by May 4, 2012.  A new YPT certificate will be required for all those whose YPT expires this year.

Don’t forget!
The current version of the MBC Listing, dated 1/4/12, is posted at crosstimbersdistrict.org/documents/badge.pdf.                                           The username is tiger and the password is Eagle29.  Both words are case sensitive.
