Friends of Scouting Message to Families 2018  An Important Message from Longhorn Council (Click video above to play)  Family members, Unit volunteers and Community supporters alike will be participating in the annual Friends of Scouting Campaign to support the operating budget of the Longhorn Council. The new One-Month Campaign for families begins February 1. Community alumni and donor outreach luncheons will kickoff on February 8th, and then one or two each week for the next six weeks. The Longhorn Council Executive Board and Staff pledge their Friends of Scouting gift before units and individuals are asked to give.  This is a very critical campaign to the on-going success of the Longhorn Council's operations, programs, and services.
