As packs across the nation are preparing for their annual Pinewood Derby® events, participating Scout Shops are planning a pretty cool, pre-event of their own! On a fun-packed Saturday in January-the 11th or 18th -(check with store to confirm date), your local Scout Shop becomes your pre-derby pit stop for the best racing tips around. So whether you're a first-time builder or a seasoned competitor, there's plenty to learn at CHAMP CAMP! Drop in at your convenience anytime during regular store hours to: • Learn the tricks that can shave seconds off your race time • Discover precision tools that can streamline your build • Find out your car's exact weight and test it on a track • Ask the questions that make the difference when you get back home Pinewood Derby Champ Camp takes place on your participating Scout Shop's choice of Saturday, January 11 or 18. Contact your nearest Scout Shop for date and details. All Cub Scouts® must must be accompanied by an adult.
