Every year, our organization hosts multiple Nuclear Science Merit Badge Workshops for Boy Scouts to complete their Nuclear Science Merit Badge. We will be hosting one event for the Fall semester of 2012 on November 3rd. I am contacting you because I am hoping that you have the capabilities to forward this on to the troops in your district to inform them of this event. Our website gives more information about the event and registration at ans.tamu.edu/scouting. I also have a flier that can be distributed.     If you are not the right person to speak to about spreading the word of this event, could you please forward me on to the correct contact for your district? Unit Inventories- The membership inventory is a part of the unit’s charter renewal and will assist the unit in building strength with a quality program. It should be conducted 60 days prior to the unit’s charter review meeting. By doing a membership inventory a charter plan can be put in place to help in collecting missing information or removing both youth and adult members in the unit. Voice of the Scout E-mailed survey system- The Voice of the Scout is membership feedback system that will be able to capture and categorize member experiences in a way that will address operational and strategic needs of Scouting. It will allow the insight needed to deliver a membership that goes beyond expectations, creating positive referrals and a data-driven approach toward growth.  In order to better serve our members we need help updating e-mail address. CubCast

CubCast has been a great tool for sharing new information about the Cub Scouting program and for helping leaders with questions about how to improve their dens and packs.
During our transition month, we will be re-airing the October 2011 CubCast on Citizenship to give you a feel for the type of content we will offer. When you tune in in November, you'll notice that instead of two shorter segments, the new format will include a single, but longer, podcast. This will allow us to delve a bit deeper into those topics that volunteers really want to know more about.
Additionally, we're introducing some new co-hosts that we think you'll love, along with a great new theme song. Tune in and tell us what you think.
You can find us by clicking on the CubCast tab at www.scouting.org/ScoutCast.
